Educational Philosophy and Pillars
At Mastermind we combine the best of two pedagogical approaches:
- Reggio Emilia → We encourage creativity, research, and learning through projects guided by children’s interests.

Learning Stages in Masterminds
- 6 months – 2 years:
- Early stimulation, motor and sensory development, first sounds and words, emotional security.
- 2 – 3 years:
- Learning colors, shapes, social routines, first letters and numbers, bilingual language development.
- 3 – 4 years:
- Pre-reading, fine motor skills, sorting activities, early science exploration, music and art.
- 4 – 5 years:
- Beginning writing, basic math, creative projects, teamwork, and problem solving.
- 5 – 6 years:
- Comprehensive kindergarten preparation, focusing on reading, math, science, independence, and confidence.

We’ve had a really good experience at Masterminds. My son has been attending for his final summer of daycare before starting kindergarten and I’m so glad. He can be emotional sometimes at drop-off, and they are so patient and loving. The play yard is spacious, the indoor space is clean and tidy, and I get several photos and videos everyday of all the activities he gets to do! I feel good knowing that he is being taken care of so well while I’m at work.
